Sharesies had a previous EAP provider that came on board when the business was much smaller. However, concerning feedback around some of the advice therapists had offered staff, as well as a lack of availability of therapists, led them to look for a new provider that was more fit for purpose.

Sharesies has made burnout a real focus in the workplace, and Anna says part of that means being careful not to overuse the term burnout when it’s not appropriate. She says Clearhead’s up to date wellbeing data has helped them to hone in on how much of an issue burnout really is.
“I think sometimes people label something as burnout…and it sounds like it’s a big, huge issue, but actually if you dig down into the report, you can see there are often other factors (involved).”

“We own the burnout that comes through, but also there are so many other contributing factors to how people are feeling that it’s not that helpful labelling everything as burnout, because then everything gets treated the same.”
