Psychotherapist
Specialised support for
Autism, Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Professional Supervision

I am a dual‑qualified Senior Psychotherapist (Transactional Analysis) and Occupational Therapist with a Master of Health Science (Mental Health) and a Diploma in Autism & Mental Health. My practice is grounded in neuroaffirming principles — through explicit clinical competence in autism, sensory processing, interoception, and trauma. I specialise in the intersection of complex trauma (including sexual harm), autistic experience (particularly women and girls), and advanced clinical formulation. This means I work in a way that recognises how autistic communication, sensory profiles, shutdowns, masking, alexithymia, and social vulnerability shape both trauma exposure and trauma presentation. My approach integrates sensory, functional, relational, and psychological domains so clients are understood in context — not misdiagnosed, pathologised, or overshadowed. I also support clients experiencing burnout, overwhelm, childhood trauma, parenting challenges, and a wide range of mental health concerns. My recent APANZ conference presentation (2026) and June 2025 workshop focused on redesigning trauma therapy for autistic women and girls, including adapting therapy rocesses, pacing, sensory environments, and therapeutic communication. I provide clinical supervision with a strong focus on neuroaffirming practice within mental health settings. I also advocate for sector‑wide change — including EAP platforms — so autistic clients are met with competence, humility, and environments that genuinely support their wellbeing.
