Biography

Tēnā koe! I am an experienced and qualified Counsellor who has worked alongside our tamariki (children), our rangatahi (young people), our whānau (families), wāhine (women) and tāne (men) here in Aotearoa New Zealand. I whakapapa to Ngāti Tūwharetoa and am māmā to two fantastic adult children. A significant aspect of my counselling work has been with young people, whānau, women and men who have experienced sexual trauma, physical violence/trauma, those struggling with the effects of suicidal thoughts/intentions and self-harm. It feels wrong to say that these areas of my counselling experience are specialisations or of special interest to me but I am particularly interested in working alongside you if you are struggling to find your way forward because of these significant types of trauma and suicide/self-harm. I am currently unable to tautoko any new clients at the moment.
