Biography

Tricia Brockett M.N.Z.A.P., P.B.A.N.Z. I am a registered psychotherapist and certified transactional analyst (clinical) and work with individuals and couples covering a wide range of issues. I have worked as a psychotherapist for the past 30 years. My belief is that everyone has the capacity to overcome past difficulties and grow to their full potential. Of particular interest to me is working with the long-term impact that disruption and trauma in early developmental years has on peoples’ lives. Other areas of specialty include self-esteem issues, stress, anxiety and depression and the unconscious patterns that affect lives as an outcome of early disruptions. I also work with those who are managing depression and anxiety and grief and loss in the present. I have worked for many years helping those who are dealing with relationship issues in the present including reconciliation, separation, parenting and grand‑parenting where adjusting to change and loss is painful. I am an experienced supervisor and offer supervision to those working in the mental health field. My days of work are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
