My interest is working alongside people to empower them to reach their potential by assisting them to remove the barriers that impede their quality of life. I am a Registered Social Worker and am able to work as a counsellor and clinical supervisor with a range of people from adolescents though to more mature people. My previous experience has been working at the Bay of Plenty Addiction Service, Community Mental Health (the Community and Crisis services), and the Needs Assessment and Coordination Service. I gained a speciality in Addictions. Within the Needs Assessment and Coordination service I was employed to work alongside people to get into housing and support services within the Tauranga Moana community. I provide evidence based practice counselling and support for people with challenges and difficulties they may be experiencing.
