Biography

I have a friendly, warm, and approachable style. I love to instill hope and help you recognise the strength and resilience you have already shown. I listen deeply and endeavour to create a counselling space where you feel accepted and understood. I have trained in a number of different counselling models and continue learning and adding to my knowledge to meet your individual needs. I grew up in Mangere and feel that I gained immensely from being part of that community, which has also shaped my counselling practice, grounding it in the frameworks of Maori and Pasifika wellbeing. I really enjoy working with young women from different backgrounds and ethnicities and ensuring my practice is culturally safe. My approach is strength-based and holistic.
