Kia ora, I’m Randi, an NZ Registered Psychologist with specialized training in Health Psychology. I take a holistic approach to wellbeing which acknowledges the complex interactions between thoughts, behaviours, feelings, environments and physical health. I support adults with a wide variety of challenges: stress, mild to moderate low mood and anxiety, managing significant life transitions (including parenthood), rehabilitation from and adjustment to living with health conditions/ illness, psychological strategies to self-manage chronic pain, optimising general wellbeing and self-care. My input is tailored to clients' needs, using evidence-based approaches incl. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, and mindfulness-based treatments. In a safe and supportive environment, therapy begins with understanding each person’s unique experiences and emotions. From there, we work together to make sense of the clients’ experiences, and explore ways to alleviate struggles through insights, tools, and skills that align with their values and goals. Please note: I only offer virtual appointments at present. However, from July 15th 2025, I will also be seeing clients face to face at Heritage Psychology in Christchurch Central City on Tuesday morning.
