Biography

I value the creation of a respectful and safe space to reflect and explore what might be impacting someone's life, to be curious about what might've contributed to this, what might limit. and what might support the creation of positive change for people. I have 30yrs in the helping professions, as an Occupational Therapist. Drug & Alcohol [AOD] Counselor, and latterly as a Psychotherapist. My work has been predominantly in the areas of mental health and addictions [AOD, Gambling etc]. My experience includes, and is not limited to, working with the following issues: self-esteem or self-worth, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, spirituality, sexuality, cultural issues, and employment problems. This work has involved supporting people who are engaging in the challenge to face into personal change.
