Biography

With over a decade of experience in both the private and public sectors, Dr Mona Ghanbari specialises in working with children, adolescents (including at-risk youth), and young adults. She is a qualified psychologist with international experience. Her expertise encompasses psychological assessment and treatment for a wide range of difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASD/C), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Trauma, Emotional Dysregulation, Depression, Stress, Burnout, and Anxiety Disorder. Additionally, she has a background in acute intervention provision for the New Zealand Ministry of Education (MoE), working with clients facing various behavioural, socio-emotional challenges, and mental health disorders.
