I am a trauma-trained counsellor and couples therapist committed to helping people work through tough times or difficult seasons. I strive to create a safe space where my clients feel heard, validated, and respected without judgment. I work holistically, incorporating the whole person, and although I am trained in several therapies, I employ an integrative approach tailored to my clients' needs. As of March 2026, I will also be offering EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy) for those with trauma-related symptoms. Those who know me would describe me as caring, authentic, and approachable. I am originally from Wellington but now live in the Bay of Plenty; I am married to my husband of 26 years and have one child and three grandchildren. I love reading, keeping active, watching movies, and travelling.
Bachelor of Counselling Degree (with Distinction). Post-Graduate Certificate in Responding to Trauma (completing)
