I'm an experienced and compassionate clinical therapist with speciality training and expertise treating reproductive, pregnancy and postpartum challenges (including infertility, miscarriage, perinatal and postnatal anxiety and depression, and NICU stays). With empathy, understanding and an evidence-based approach, I aim to reduce distress and increase feelings of hope and well-being. I completed my clinical and specialty training in maternal mental health in America, and I am nearing completion on a PhD in health psychology at the University of Auckland, which focuses on reducing distress for parents during the perinatal period and within the NICU. I am also the New Zealand country coordinator for Postpartum Support International (PSI). I bring all of these experiences into my clinical work to provide warm, emphatic evidence-based care.
