Biography

Do you want a safe, non-judgemental space to talk? I am available face to face and online. Give me a call today and together we can make sense of your lived experiences; moving from a place of overwhelm to a place of hope. I offer a safe space where you will be seen, you will be heard, and you will feel aroha. It is an honour to hear your story and through care, respect and a trusted relationship I hope to earn the right to hear it. Making the first step forward and reaching out for support is really brave. When you are ready, I am here to help and together we can explore the struggles that you are facing. Honouring, your expertise over your lived-experiences, and utilising my skills, we can work in partnership, mana to mana, to discover a meaningful way forward, accessing your resources to meet challenges head on. As a counsellor I will: • Work in partnership alongside you on your journey. • Actively listen to your story and discover what is important and meaningful for you. • Weave my skills with your expertise to navigate an individualised path forward. • Promote autonomy, empowering you to find your own inner strength. • Ensure confidentiality. • Uphold an ethical practice. • Cultivate an environment of honesty, reflection and calm. • And, embrace our time together.
