Biography

Kia Ora, my name is James Hutton (He/Him), I have a degree in counselling, and a Postgrad Diploma in Addiction Studies. I have worked in Christchurch Men’s Prison and in the community with both adults and youth. I enjoy working with couples, families, and individuals, and have worked with many different people with a wide range of issues. I usually use a Narrative therapy approach, which emphasizes finding and strengthening alternative, positive stories. I am also comfortable in other modalities
