Biography

Are you stressed out, worried about the future, needing someone to help you cope with life? I specialize in helping people who are experiencing significant life, work, relationship or identity distress, Do you ever feel like you are stuck, like having your foot on the accelerator and on the brakes at the same time? As an experienced counsellor with decades of experience supporting adults of all ages and stages of life as they navigate unfamiliar territory, I understand the unique stressors and challenges arise at such times. I also understand that significant life changes and personal transitions can be eagerly anticipated or happen so suddenly that we can be thrown into uncertainty and chaos. We will work together to identify the issue(s) you want to work on, set realistic goals and explore strategies to meet those goals within a framework of realistic hope. I will work intentionally with you in line with your strengths, beliefs, sense of purpose and resilence while also supporting you to strengthen and develop new strengths, skills, competencies and values when what did work, no longer is. We do this best when working within the framework of your cultural beliefs, values and spiritual or life practices. I am a trauma, gender and neurodiverse, gender informed counsellor and supervisor.
