Biography

Are you stressed out, worried about the future, needing someone to help you cope with life? I specialize in helping people who are experiencing significant life, work, relationship or identity distress? Do you ever feel like you have your foot on the accelerator and on the break at the same time? As an experienced counsellor with decades of experience supporting adults navigating new and unfamiliar territory, I understand the challenge of holding yourself together while facing significant transitions. I also understand that those changes may be eagerly anticipated or totally unexpected. We will work together to identify the issue(s) you want to work on, set realistic goals and explore strategies to meet those goals within a framework of realistic hope. I will support you to achieve those goals by intentionally working with your strengths, resilience and sense of purpose while also coaching you to develop new strengths, skills, competencies. We do this best when working within the framework of your cultural beliefs, values and spiritual or life practices.
