I have worked with men and women helping them deal with the issues that caused them to feel trapped in the life they have. Hurts and frustrations and expectations that lead to depression and anxiety. With my work with couples I provide a safe environment where they can explore the issues that have caused them to build walls rather than bridges between themselves. My primary training is in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Narrative Therapy. CBT helps to explore unhelpful behaviours in order to develop a new way of thinking about life. Narrative Therapy helps us explore the things we believe about ourselves that were helpful when we were younger but have become problematic in adult life. I have trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy both proven proven methods to help couples rebuild trust and deepen their love for each other.
