I am a counsellor based in Hamilton and offering online counselling throughout New Zealand. My approach to counselling is fundamentally person-centred and existential, meaning I respect the unique experiences and choices of every client. The values of empathy, genuineness and positive regard underlie all the work I do. I also strongly integrate mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Jungian approaches into my counselling practice. I earned my undergraduate degrees in psychology in New Zealand and completed my Master of Counselling at Arizona State University in the United States. I have experience working with a wide variety of presenting concerns, from meaning in life issues and decision making to mental health concerns such as depression, bipolar, anxiety and trauma. Throughout my work I have had the continual joy to witness how counselling can transform people’s lives for the better.
