Social Worker
Specialised support for
Family Difficulties, Maternal Mental Health, Trauma

We all have those periods when we may feel overwhelmed with things like stress, anxiety, depression, the past affecting us in the present, or just generally like we're a bit "stuck". And sometimes its helpful to have a bit of a hand to get "unstuck" and feel more like ourselves again. That's where I come in. I have over 12 years experience supporting individuals and families with trauma, emotional wellbeing and parenting . I'm particularly interested in our emotional worlds and how this impacts our day to day lives. I tailor each session specifically to what's going on for you, thinking about whats happening within your brain and body (neurobiological lens), taking a strengths based and trauma-informed approach. I incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, the rewind, DDP, ACT, mindfulness & regulation strategies. Your relationship with a therapist is important, and I'm here to provide a safe and validating space for you.
