I am a health psychologist with over a decade of experience in the field of health psychology. To help people ‘thrive’ is at the core of my psychological approach. My aim is to work with people to help them to get the most out of life, enhance their wellbeing (both physical and mental) and help people to live well. I am passionate about helping people who are managing a health condition. Whether it be to help people adjust to, and accept, a health diagnosis or injury, managing the psychosocial impacts of living with a health condition, and/or helping people manage their health in a meaningful way. I also have expertise in helping people work towards general health goals. For example, bariatric surgery for weight loss, smoking cessation, or simply wanting to eat better or move more. Alongside this, I am experienced in helping people improve their mental wellbeing in general. Conditions such as anxiety and depressed mood are on the rise and more of us are living with the crippling effects of feeling anxious, stressed, and/or feeling down. The good news is that very good treatments exist to help manage these conditions, reduce the impact they have, and get people back doing the things they love.
