Dan is a Sleep Psychologist and runs The Better Sleep Clinic, a specialist provider of treatments for insomnia and other sleep disorders & mental health conditions. He's a Registered Psychologist with previous careers in both the corporate sector & the Armed Forces (where he experienced plenty of sleep deprivation first hand!). Insomnia doesn't respond to standard mental health treatments & Dan is one of the few psychologists in NZ certified in CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), the #1 recommended therapy for insomnia. In fact, insomnia is a human sleep system issue & not a mental health disorder per se.
