Hi there, I’m Dana — a Registered Psychologist offering online therapy to people across New Zealand. I work with people who are seeking support with anxiety, low mood, stress, or making changes to patterns that no longer feel helpful. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. Sessions are guided by your goals and move at a pace that feels right for you. They are typically structured but flexible, with a focus on understanding what’s been keeping things stuck and developing practical strategies you can use between sessions. In our work together, we focus on building skills that help you navigate difficult thoughts and emotions, reconnect with what matters to you, and make changes that feel sustainable in real life. I draw on evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailoring sessions to your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I also value the importance of culture, identity, and lived experience, and work in ways that respect your background, values, and the wider context of your life and whānau.
