Counsellor
Specialised support for
Anxiety, Attachment, Career Change, Coaching, Communication Skills

I have been a Counsellor for 20 years, something which happened as a very lucky accident. I should explain that I have lived in New Zealand for 10 years and this is now my home, not quite like Wales but with many similarities. Currently I work part time (3 days a week) in private practice. I work with sensitive claims for ACC, EAP and Victim Support and self-funding clients. Clients come with a variety of issues which include anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, issues around family and work, addiction and trauma. I enjoy working with a variety of clients and this allows me to use various therapeutic modalities according to the needs of the client. My previous experience includes working as a guidance counsellor working with young people between the ages of 11-18, working in Tertiary education in the UK as an administrator and counsellor. In this role I worked with international students struggling with various issues.
