Counselling can sometimes be a hopeful, yet intimidating process. Amy provides a warm, empathetic, and non judgmental environment to make this process easier. She is a degree qualified, registered counsellor who tailors each session to the needs of each individual client. She uses evidence based therapeutic approaches which empower people with practical coping strategies such as the Te whare tapa whā model, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Practice.
