I qualified in clinical psychology in the Netherlands in 2004 and worked for over a decade with a forensic population who experienced a wide range of mental health issues including addiction, depression, acute and chronic psychotic disorders, trauma and severe personality disorders. I came to New Zealand in 2016, worked for the Department of Corrections and since 2018 I am full time in Private Practice. I am also the co-founder of New Zealand's first intense treatment programme (EMDR); Turning Tides.
