Biography

I offer a confidential, caring and non-judgemental space for you to talk openly about life's challenges. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression or any other mental health issue, I am here to walk alongside you. I take a client-centred approach to counselling, which means that I will work with you to understand your unique needs and goals. Together, we will explore your emotional, physical, social and spiritual needs to find growth, healing and freedom. I am a certified counsellor holding a Bachelor of counselling and am continually furthering my studies to ensure I provide you with the most current and informed approach in my counselling practice. My husband of 23 years and I have six children. In light of this, I am aware of the challenges and joys that parenting and family life bring. I can help in areas of: pornography, sexual abuse, general wellbeing, relationship difficulties, depression, stress, behavioural addiction, anxiety, goal setting, grief and loss, suicidal thoughts and lifestyle changes. I have a special interest in helping people navigate challenges due to living in a highly sexualised society. I am also continuing my studies with a Master of Sexology. I also offer Christian counselling if requested.
