Sharon is a Clinical Psychologist who is dedicated to working compassionately and collaboratively with individuals across the lifespan. She has experience working with clients presenting with a wide range of psychiatric, emotional and behavioural difficulties including Anxiety, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Eating Disorders, Trauma, Self-esteem, Self-Harm and Emotion Dysregulation. Sharon’s therapeutic approach is warm, empathic and non-judgemental. She is passionate about helping her clients gain an in-depth understanding of their difficulties and develop skills so that they can lead fulfilling lives. Sharon has gained valuable experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in a Private Practice setting and has developed strong skills in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of various childhood disorders and assisting parents implement parent management strategies. Sharon is currently working at Northside Group Clinic Cremone, facilitating inpatient and outpatient Mood Disorders groups, as well as providing individual therapy for inpatients. She previously worked at St John of God Burwood, facilitating the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy program for inpatients. Sharon draws on a range of evidence-based treatment modalities including, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness tailored to the needs of each individual and family.
