Jacqui has extensive training and experience in the health care industry. Initially training as a Nurse, she then completed studies in Naturopathy before moving into the field of Psychology. This breadth of knowledge allows her to bring an integrative and holistic view to her practice, assisting her clients to transform their lives on many levels. Jacqui also has a particular interest in neurobiology and the emerging fields of epigenetics and psychoneuroimmunology, believing that understanding the mind-body connection is empowering, and provides a pathway for understanding the healing modalities offered. From this perspective Jacqui uses a combination of psychoeducation, cognitive practice, and mindfulness exercises to assist in the development of awareness, as well as a range of skills and practices that not only help you to heal, but to flourish. Over the last few years Jacqui has been engaged as a Psychologist in both the public and private space, which has provided a wealth of experience of working with people experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain. Due to her own personal history of Anxiety however, this has become an area of special interest.
