Trudy is an experienced Registered Psychologist who utilises a number of evidence- based therapies including CBT, ACT and DBT with a strong focus on mindfulness, positive psychology and goal setting. Trudy has a specific interest in child and adolescent mental health. She has spent many years working in an educational setting as both a teacher and school psychologist and has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents and their families to overcome barriers, embrace personal strengths and achieve positive change. Trudy works with a number of different presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, behavioural difficulties and learning difficulties. Trudy also has extensive experience in conducting psychometric assessments with children and adolescents; including cognitive, academic, developmental and behavioural. Trudy is an empathetic, caring and non-judgmental psychologist who is committed to providing her clients with a warm, supportive and safe therapeutic relationship that is based on a collaborative, client-centered and strengths-based approach.
