Molly is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 22 years of experience. Molly has enjoyed working with adults, adolescents and children experiencing depression and anxiety, stress, trauma and grief, workplace issues, anger, parenting and relationship difficulties, health concerns related to injury and illness, as well as bipolar, personality and psychotic disorders. Molly’s therapeutic practice integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with other evidence-based modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. Molly has a particular interest in the emerging research related to attachment theory and building mind-body connection in the treatment of traumatic stress and developmental trauma in children and adults. Prior to working at Ramsay Psychology, Molly has worked in both the public and private sectors in clinical, senior management and supervisory roles. Molly has worked within an inpatient facility providing CBT therapies and delivering group programs to patients with acute and chronic mental illness. Molly also has experience working with managers, teams and employees providing corporate training, executive coaching and critical incident responses following traumatic events. She has trained large groups of allied health professionals and currently works as a Clinical Supervisor within the Bond University Clinical Psychology Masters’ program. Molly is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists. Molly has travelled overseas widely and loves Italy and Japan, however, holds the Gold Coast dearest to her. Molly is caring, curious and respectful and takes a client-centred and trauma-focussed approach. Molly understands the importance of the therapeutic alliance as a change agent and believes the creation of a safe and trusted space for clients can foster open exploration, develop a clearer understanding of their experience and allow healing and growth. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals, improve psychological wellbeing and develop positive ways to live valued lives with more ease and meaning.
