With 14 years' experience as a Registered Psychologist Ellen provides a safe, gentle, non-judgemental, empowering and confidential space for families, children and adolescents. Ellen has a wealth of experience working as a Psychologist with children and adolescents of all ages including individuals with disabilities. She has worked in the not-for-profit sector and for the Department of Education as a school counsellor and Senior Psychologist, Education. Ellen ensures that she understands her clients and provides the most appropriate tailored psychological therapy for them. She has a particular interest in using various techniques to help the client empower themselves, to learn about themselves and to move forward. She ensures that she works with the family so that the therapy helps not only the client but also their family. Ellen has extensive experience in providing standardised psychological assessments for children and adolescents. Her expertise includes Intelligence Quotient Testing (both verbal and non verbal) as well as behaviour and emotional assessments. All assessments are conducted in such a manner to ensure the child or adolescent is very comfortable and therefore ensures that the results are a true representation of the child or adolescent. Ellen is an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor and has supervised many provisional psychologists to complete their internship as well as Registered Psychologists requiring Supervision.
