Donna McCormack is an accredited counsellor with NZAC. She has over 15 years experience working with a variety of organisations, focused on social and personal development and empowerment of individuals in both charitable and government organisations. After moving from Ireland in 2010, she worked in supervised group homes implementing behaviour change programmes for adolescences. In 2018 she completed her Masters of Counselling at the University of Waikato. Later that year she opened her Private Practice working under the ideas of Narrative Therapy with the ability to work with a variety of issues such as trauma, grief, trauma and Psychological Diagnosis (ADHD, ASD etc). Narrative Therapy hopes to separate the person from the problem. Donna seeks to open conversations where beliefs, values, and the client's own stories will assist to reduce the power of the problem in their own lives.
