Claire is a Clinical Psychologist with a particular interest in working with older people and their families, although she also enjoys working with adults of all ages. She prioritises taking a collaborative, strengths-based approach when working with individuals and enjoys helping people to make healthier lifestyle choices to improve mental and physical wellbeing. Claire previously worked in a range of specialist older adult services in London, UK, before moving to Australia in 2016. She has since worked in a primary health setting for over five years in a range of clinical and management roles. She draws on evidence-based approaches in her work including CBT, ACT, DBT and MI. She has completed a foundation course in Systemic Practice accredited by the UK Association of Family Therapy, which she uses to inform her work. She also utilises Feedback Informed Therapy to optimise outcomes for clients. Claire enjoys supervising colleagues, as well as mentoring others and creating a positive work culture, with a focus on wellbeing.
