Angela is an AHPRA registered Psychologist and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi). Angela has worked with young people and their families within government and private school systems and adults from various backgrounds. She is compassionate and empathic as she works alongside each client to help them through their current challenges. She believes in providing a safe and trusting environment so clients can work on those difficult problems that keep getting in the way of the life they want to live. Angela has a special interest in working with clients who have experienced single incident or multiple traumas and adverse childhood experiences using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other modalities. Traumas can leave an indelible mark on people's lives and on others around them and finding some relief from the past can be a way forward. Just as each person is unique, Angela tailors the treatment plan according to the client’s individual circumstances and preferences drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities.
